Description of ina190-q1
Ina190-q1 is an automotive type, Low-Power Voltage Output Current Shunt Monitor (also known as current sense amplifier). This device is commonly used to monitor systems directly connected to 12V batteries of automobiles. Ina190-q1 can sense the voltage drop across the shunt at a common mode voltage of – 0.2V to + 40V independent of the power supply voltage. In addition, the input pin also has an absolute maximum voltage of 42V.
The low input bias current of the device allows the use of larger current sensing resistors, which can provide accurate current measurement on the micro ampere level. The low offset voltage of the zero drift architecture extends the dynamic range of current measurement. This feature enables smaller inductive resistors to provide accurate current measurement with lower power losses.
Ina190-q1 is powered by 1.7V to 5.5V single power supply. The maximum power supply current consumed when enabled is 65 µ a, while it is only 0.1 µ a when disabled. Five fixed gain options are available: 25V / V, 50V / V, 100V / V, 200V / V or 500V / v. The device has a rated operating temperature range of – 40 ° C to + 125 ° C and is packaged in SC70 and SOT-23.
