DAC8512 is a complete serial input, 12-bit, voltage output digital-to-analog converter designed to work from a single+5V power supply. It contains DAC, input shift register and latch, reference and a rail-to-rail output amplifier. Built using CBCMOS process, these monolithic CBCMOS provide users with low cost and are easy to use in+5V system.
The encoding of DAC8512 is a natural binary file. First, load the MSB. The output operational amplifier can swing to any orbit, and is set to the range of 0V to+4.095V - a resolution of 1mV for each. It can sink and purchase 5 mA. The on-chip reference is laser trimmed to provide 4.095 V.
The serial interface is high-speed, three-wire, DSP-compatible data (SDI), clock (CLK) and negative carrier strobe light (LD). There is also a chip selection pin for connecting multiple dacs.
CLR input sets the output to zero scale when the user is powered on or when the user needs it.
DAC8512 is specified in the extended industrial (- 40 ° C to+85 ° C) temperature range. The DAC8512s can be installed on the surface of plastic DIPs and SO-8.
