Tps54560b is a 60V, 5A step-down regulator with integrated high side MOSFET. Current mode control provides simple external compensation and flexible component selection. The low ripple pulse jump mode reduces the no-load supply current to 146 μ A。 When the en (enable) pin is pulled to the low level, the shutdown power supply current is reduced to 2 μ A。
Undervoltage lockout is internally set to 4.3v, but can be raised by the en (enable) pin. The output voltage starting ramp can be controlled internally to realize controllable starting process and eliminate overshoot. Wide switching frequency range can optimize efficiency or external component size. The output current is a limited cycle by cycle current. Frequency turn back and thermal shutdown protect internal and external components under overload conditions.
