Tps211xa series power multiplexers support no conversion between two power supplies (such as battery and wall adapter). Each power supply works between 2.8 V and 5.5 V and can provide up to 2 A, depending on the package. Tps211xa series includes a wide range of protection circuits, including user programmable current limiting, thermal protection, surge current control, seamless power conversion, cross conduction blocking and reverse conduction blocking. These functions greatly simplify the design of power multiplexer applications.
