Adg658 and adg659 are composed of low-voltage and analog multiplexers respectively. CMOS is composed of 8 single channels and 4 differential channels. Adg658 switches one of the eight inputs (s1-s8) to common output D, which is determined by the 3-bit binary address lines A0, A1 and A2. Adg659 switches one of the four differential inputs to a common differential output, such as the common differential output determined by the 2-bit binary address lines A0 and A1. The en input on both devices is used to enable or disable the device. When disabled, all channels are closed.
These components are designed in an enhanced process to provide lower power consumption but higher switching speed. These components can operate as well as multiplexers or demultiplexers and have an input range that extends to the supply. All channels show switching action before disconnection to prevent short circuit during channel switching. All digital inputs have a logic threshold of 0.8V to 2.4V, ensuring TTL / CMOS logic compatibility when using a single + 5V or dual ± 5V power supply.
