describe
Tps54528 is an adaptive real-time d-cap2 ™ Mode Synchronous Buck converter. Tps54528 enables system designers to use cost-effective, low component count and low standby current solutions to complete various terminal equipment power bus regulator kits. The main control loop of tps54528 uses d-cap2 ™ Mode control that provides fast transient response without external compensation components. Adaptive on time control supports seamless transition between PWM mode and eco mode under higher load conditions ™ Light load operation. Ecological model ™ Tps54528 is allowed to maintain the retention rate under light load conditions.
The tps54528 also has a dedicated circuit that enables the device to use low equivalent series resistance (ESR) output capacitors, such as poscap or sp-cap, and ultra-low ESR ceramic capacitors. The device operates with a 4.5V to 18V VIN input. The output voltage is programmable between 0.76 V and 6 v. The device also has an adjustable soft start time. The tps54528 is available in an 8-pin DDA package and is designed to operate at temperatures from - 40 ° C to 85 ° C.
