Tps7b770x-q1 series devices adopt single channel and dual channel high-voltage low-voltage differential regulators (LDOS) with current detection function, which are suitable for working in a wide input voltage range from 4.5V to 40V (45V load sudden drop protection). These devices supply power to the low noise amplifier of the active antenna through a coaxial cable with a current of 300mA per channel. Each channel can also provide an adjustable output voltage of 1.5V to 20V.
These devices provide diagnostics through current detection and error pins. To monitor the load current, the high side current detection circuit provides an analog output proportional to the detected load current. The current detection function is very accurate and can detect open circuit, normal and short circuit conditions without further correction. Current detection can be multiplexed between channels and devices to save analog-to-digital converter (ADC) resources. Each channel also realizes adjustable current limiting function through external resistance.
The reverse polarity diode is integrated, so no external diode is required. These devices have standard thermal shutdown function, output battery short-circuit protection function and reverse current protection function. Each channel can provide internal inductive clamping protection for the output during the disconnection of the inductive switch.
The operating ambient temperature range of these devices is -40 ° C to +125 ° C.
