The device is a four channel high side driver, using ST's proprietary vipower ® M0-7 technology and installed in powerso-16 package. The device is designed to drive 12V vehicle grounding load through a 3V and 5vcmos compatible interface to provide protection and diagnosis.
The device integrates advanced protection functions, such as load current limit, overload active management power limit, overtemperature shutdown and configurable lockout shutdown.
