Adum2400/adum2401/adum24021 is based on analog equipment company, based on ® Technology of 4-channel Digital Isolator. Combined with high-speed CMOS and monolithic air core transformer technology, these isolation components provide outstanding performance characteristics that are superior to alternatives such as optocoupler devices.
By avoiding the use of LEDs and photodiodes, i-coupler devices eliminate the design difficulties usually associated with optocouplers. Typical optocouplers involve uncertain current transfer ratio, nonlinear transfer function and temperature. Through simple coupler digital interface and stable performance characteristics, the influence of structure and life is eliminated. In addition, the signal data rate of icoupler equipment is equivalent, and its power is one tenth to one sixth of that of optocoupler.
The adum2400/adum2401/adum2402 isolators provide four independent isolation channels in various channel configurations and data rates (see the order Guide). The power supply voltage of adum2400/adum2401/adum2402 models ranges from 2.7V to 5.5V, providing compatibility with lower voltage systems and realizing voltage conversion across isolation barriers.
