summary
Adg4612/adg4613 have four independent single pole single throw (SPST) switches built in. The on condition of adg4612 switch is that the relevant control input is logic 1. The digital control logic of two switches in adg4613 is similar to that of adg4612, but the control logic of the other two switches is opposite. When turned on, the conductivity of each switch in both directions is the same, and the input signal range can be extended to the power supply voltage range. Adg4613 is a first on then on switch, which is suitable for multiplexer applications.
When there is no power supply, the switch remains disconnected, and the switch input is a high impedance input to ensure that there is no current that may damage the switch or the downstream circuit. This feature is very useful for applications where analog signals may exist at the switch input before the power is turned on, or for applications where users cannot control the power on timing of the power supply.
Under the off condition, the signal level up to 16 V is shielded. In addition, if the analog input signal level is higher than VT of VDD, the switch will open. These switches have low on resistance characteristics, which are ideal solutions for data acquisition and gain switch applications that are critical to low on resistance and low distortion performance. The on resistance curve is very flat over the entire analog input range, ensuring excellent linearity and low distortion performance when switching audio signals.
