TPS40210 and tps40211 are asynchronous boost controllers with wide input voltage (4.5V to 52V).
They are suitable for topologies that require a grounded source n-channel FET, including pressurization, fallback, spacing, and various LED driver applications. Features of the device include programmable soft start, overcurrent protection and automatic retry, and programmable oscillator frequency. Current mode control provides improved transient response and simplified loop compensation. The main difference between the two parts is that the error amplifier adjusts the reference voltage of FB pin.
