Tps25221 is suitable for applications that may encounter heavy capacitive loads and short circuits. The programmable current limit threshold can be set between 275 Ma and 2.7 A (typical) using an external resistor. I * * degree of ± 6% can be achieved under high current limit setting. Control the rise and fall time of the power switch to greatly reduce the current surge during opening and closing.
When the load attempts to draw * over programmed ilimit current, the internal FET enters constant current mode to maintain iladat or * * ilimit. Under the overcurrent condition after the built-in deburring time, the fault output will be asserted as low.
