St3485e is ± 15kvesd protection, 3.3V low-power transceiver, which is used for RS-485 and RS-422 communication. The device contains a driver and a receiver. St3485e transmits and receives at a guaranteed data rate of at least 12mbps.
All transmitter outputs and receiver inputs are protected to ± 15kV by manikin.
The drive is a thermal shutdown circuit that limits the short-circuit current and prevents excessive heat dissipation, so that the drive output enters a high impedance state.
