Lm4890 is mainly an audio power amplifier designed for demanding applications in mobile devices, telephone and other portable communication devices. It can provide 1 watt of power. The continuous average power is 8 Ω BTL load. The distortion of 5VDC power supply is less than 1% (THD + n). Boomer audio power amplifier is designed, especially to provide high-quality output power and minimum number of external components. This lm4890 does not require an output coupling capacitor or bootstrap capacitor, so it is very suitable for mobile phones and other low-voltage applications. Among them, power consumption is a major problem. Lm4890 is required to have the characteristics of low power consumption, shutdown mode and low shutdown pin through driving logic.
In addition, the lm4890 has an internal thermal shutdown protection mechanism. The lm4890 contains advanced pop-up and click circuits, which can eliminate otherwise noise during on and off conversion.
